I came here for the first time on Friday with my husband and was pleasantly surprised. The restaurant was clean, well-kept, and well-decorated. There's a nautical theme going on with bright, but not-offensive, lighting throughout. The tables and booths are spread out from one another, so you definitely don't feel cramped or uncomfortable. Each booth features its own personal Fire TV, which is a really nice touch. Service was really good. The waiter and waitresses were friendly and polite and came by frequently to check on us. The food did not take long at all to come out. I was pleasantly surprised by the food. Despite the reviews, I actually found everything to be really well-seasoned. The Cajun fries were flavorful and spiced really well, as were the chicken strips and shrimp. Everything came out crunchy but not overly greasy. The house special fried rice was excellent. It was packed full of shrimp and crawfish and was full of Cajun spice. However, I wouldn't recommend getting the fried rice with other stuff, as the flavor can overpower everything else. Portion sizes were very generous, and pricing was fair. The smaller fried basket combos could easily feed two people, and we had leftovers to go. I definitely recommend this place!
This is a fairly new spot. Typically our choice for crawfish would be Crawfish Cafe in Chinatown but this place didn't disappoint. We went in to order and the crawfish were hot, fresh and super flavorful. My wife opted for fried seafood and was a little disappointed in hers but she agreed that the shrimp and crawfish were on point. The space is large and they have small monitors on the walls at each booth. This was odd and a bit off putting as ours was pretty filthy from someone's earlier feast on mud bugs . Other than that we enjoyed and have been back since. This place will Be my 2nd option for when I don't want to drive to Chinatown. Go check them out!!
The food wasn't bad. Im just happy it's more options to eat in my area. I tried the fried fish basket. I will return
